Opposition in All Things

We will always have opposition in our life time.  We will be tried and tested in all things.  Jesus Christ taught, "And blessed are all they who are persecuted for my name’s sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  And blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake; For ye shall have great joy and be exceedingly glad, for great shall be your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you."  Those who follow the Savior and his true restored Gospel will always find persecution and opposition right behind it.  I know that the promise is true:  "...for thiers is the kindom of heaven."  Hold out faithful and the blessings and strength will come.

Together Forever

So here I am in Altamont, TN.  It is wonderful to be here.  Today we were able to visit with a brother who has great faith and deep charity for others.  He lost his wife nearly 20 years ago, but he still chugs along day by day feeling the pain of not being with her.  We were able to talk with him about how he can be with his wife again.  We discussed the vast love that our Heavenly Father has for us.  A love so great, that he made a way possible for each and everyone of us to be with our family again.  This is a truth that I hold dear.  This brother recognizes that Heavenly Father loves him.  Also, because of the Savior, Jesus Christ, we can be cleansed and forgiven.  This is what makes it possible for all of us to live with our families again.  It is only through Jesus Christ that we can live with our families again.  I know that we can be together forever with our families.  I'm grateful for this good brother to have such a huge faith and hope in  the Savior.  http://mormon.org/family/#marriages-mad-in-heaven
